3 goals in each of our last 3 games.

That is super form by any standard.

Plus 9 goals from our two strikers is enough to put the fear of God in any defence.

Looking forward to TV 3's show on Monday already.

I hope that **** King is on it this week........he'll have to eat his words at last.

FANTASTIC!!!!

Great news indeed. Just what I needed after today's gut wrencher in the south of France.

Well done the travelling army. Significant win.

I was in the South of France! Just flew back to Cork on a 747!
Their was serious trouble with Dawsons and it's bound to be on the paper during the week! The way in which we were treated by our fellow countrymen and the French Airport Police was a disgrace!
They even had time to put 1/2 of the Cork passangers on 1 of the Shannon flights and 1/2 of that flight on ours, causing a 2 hour delay on the tar-mac!

I'm just after getting home from Longford, absolutly wrecked!

Anyway, it was another fine performance form City. George was excellent for the third game in a row, Dolan seems to be having a fantastic influence on him. Flynn made his contribution and got two goals to make him the leagues top scorer.
Most of the City fans were positioned behind the goal and we made a lot of noise and there was plenty of colour. Also, the 'Flynny for Ireland' banner made its debut!
I thought the attendance was very poor, I'd estimate little over 1000.

So the game was great and an enjoyable night was had after in Blazers.

Good stuff alright.
The big flags and green smoke from behind the goal when the teams came on was good.
Non-stop singing and the good to see players and managers come as one down to the City supporters behind the goal to applaud us.

To make a quick summary! 6:40 AM was to scheduled check-in time!
Arrived in Cork airport at 6:40 and was told to go to the North terminal! ME: Where is...? THEM: Next to the 2nd long-term car-park. Just follow them!
So I arrived at 'the north terminal' aka a hanger with all the passangers with Dawsons, about 400 on 2 airbus flights and another 450 for our 747 flight! We were held like prisoners for what felt like a very long time! I'd say about 2 hours 30 mins!
Plane left 1 hour late (to be expected)!
Arrive in Toulouse with no problems until we arrive back at the airport again! I think there was 15 flights full of Munster fans flying out, incl. two 747's ! We had to check-in a shed, when there was practically a full airport of empty check-in desks!
Worse was to come! When we were trying to go to our departure gates, the airport police decided that they would leave 2 at a time through and search them! This process took ages while everyone were squashing trying to get through to such an extent that I had to put my 6 year old brother on my back to avoid him getting killed! All this while the Police just shrugged their shoulders!
They then mixed up half of the Cork 747 passangers with the Shannon one causing a further 2 hour delay!

O’Flynn puts Cork top

Longford Town 0-3 Cork City
Cork City moved back to the top of the eircom Premier Division thanks to two goals from John O’Flynn.

From the kick off, Cork City dominated possession and looked dangerous with every attack. Longford were in trouble and their supporters in Flancare Park could see they were in for a difficult evening.

Cork earned their third corner on the quarter hour and O’Flynn rose the highest to head in a Billy Woods in swinger for his fifth league goal in just four starts.

Longford nearly hit back eleven-minutes later when Sean Francis got into a great position but screwed his effort agonisingly wide and that was the last real chance of the first half.

Just two minutes after the restart George O’Callaghan put the visitors two-up. O’Flynn was once again involved, this time as the playmaker, when he played a perfect ball into O’Callaghan’s path for the striker to score from six-yards out.

Cork were in complete control at this stage and further stretched their lead on 54-minutes when O’Flynn was gifted a second goal after some horrendous home defending.
