i was on the fifa 08 forum and i came across a pic of the Sligo Rovers team on the game,

go on Gino!!...delighted with that, Foyzer on the left wing though, not sure about that!. usually FIFA have all the players from yonks ago included in the game. surprised Choice and Kevin Julian arent in it, fair fuks to EA

I'm looking forward to winning the Champions League with that squad. It will be a nice challenge. :)

All information would have been provided by Sligo Rovers (more than likely your esteemed CPO) so the mistakes aren't at FIFA's end.

Hopefully they have Coleman rated as a high potential guy. I took Anthony Stokes from a 50s rating to an 80 over 2/3 seasons in manager mode in FIFA 07.

Gary Melly is better than Gordan aswell according to EAsports why not mention that? you must hold some sort of a grudge againist him did he bully you in school or wat?

Saying as you didn't bother quoting anything. If it is, no I don't have a grudge, maybe you have but I'm not sad. I didn't notice Gary Melly's rating.

i think its decent enough. fifa 08 is designed for ps3 and xbox360 so its gonna look ****ty enough on ps2. fifa 06' 07' and 08' are pretty much the same as each other.

as for PES6....thats just muck.

Is it possible to take Rovers to the CL in this as my son tells me that he has won the domestic league on three occasions already and hasn't yet gone on to play in the CL.
Know nothing about it he just asked me to enquire :o

also were not included in the challenge mode.

were just an novelty to the game, not taken at all seriously

you can use them for challenges on xbox aswell
as far as I know you can choose any team

I have no complaints about it. People buy fifa for the top leagues and top players thats why Id say were not in champs league

Would defeat the purpose of EA Champions League 07/08 then wouldnt it :)

Since the PS2, PS3 and Xbox versions were already mentioned I thought that I would say that Brush and judge do look like themselves in in the PSP version - which has the least capacity of all the systems obviously.

Ventre managed to get sent off 25mins into a game (against shams) for a reckless lung.....how real life is that!!

Annoying thing on the PSP version though is that no LOI keeper has a number on his jersey although they are shown in the team line up and management screens, a sloppy and dissapointing mishap...

As said by others the Eircom League insert in the 2008 version seems to be a token gesture and not very well polished.......having said that its always good to beat Shams!!
