http://www.fsai.ie/enforcement/order/enf_results.asp just hit "search now" & it gives you everything

I always keep an eye on the enforcements of The Food Safety Authority of Ireland. I think there should be a name and shame notice put on the premises. They seem to be just able to fix any problems & open up again & unless you look at the website, you'd be unaware of the problem. Looking at it, I’m surprised at the amount of butchers selling potentially harmful (BSE) high-risk meat.

I wouldn't be as worried about that as hygiene issues to be honest in restaurants, rather than old school butchers. Those regulations were a real shutting the door after the cow that thinks he's a horse has bolted. It says butchers that had beef that contained the vertebral column on the premises not that they were selling it - probably the proper old school butchers that buy whole cows and do everything themselves. Give me older quality meat over mass produced rubbish that the supermarkets sell everyday. More chance of BSE from dodgy cheap burgers imported rather than proper cuts of meat from butcher imo.

I thought that site used to list all the warnings too? Surely more than 9 incidents in Dublin City?

AFAIK businesses will get warnings & temporary closure but full closure notice. You got to wonder how bad a place is to be permanently closed. :o
