View Full Version : Tabby - Rocker with Street Cred or Post Modernist Brendan Bowyer

He is obsessed with proving how truly rock and roll he is and that the X Factor stuff meant nothing to him.
I suspect he is not a rocker with street cred, but I am willing to hear the other side of the argument.
Any "rocker" experts who specialise in the field of "street cred" who can evaluate Tabby's lack or thereof?
This thread is a big bowl of wrong in the current affairs section

Somehow it didn't seem right putting a thread about Tabby in the Music section.
Anyhow, can any Sligo Rovers lads spill the beans on Tabby's status up there? Is it true his mother tried to organise a parade for him when he came back from X factor?

I was replying to jebus' thread, not questioning his street cred, by the way.

Brendan Bowyer has a certain amount of street cred and he is Rock N' Roll to a certain generation.

The only thing I can say is the video wasn't shot in Sligo because there is never a parking space available .

Means nothing. He could be a four-time slow learner who had to be repeatedly kept back. I remember a chap in school with me who was four years older than the rest of his class. Happens.
Song sounds like that crowd who sing rainbow zephyr covering a robbie williams song.

How is it? I've been with girls 5 or 6 years older than me when I was in secondary school. I'm no rock star.
No, I'm Tabby ;):pNot exactly something to be proud of.
His song sounds like a lot of the indie stuff at the moment, imo. I find the vocals on that track very annoying.
I'm afraid I'll never be able to take this guy seriously after he did that talent show. Anyone who does those is an attention seeking prima donna.
