you could hazard a guess, people will have opinions but at the end of the day it will be aidan picking the squad. Hope he picks people who want to do really well in this. The league needs to push this more in rewarding players maybe some training gear etc would not be a bad idea.
anyway no matter who is picked the manager will be slated for his decisions.

I think the squad will consist mainly of Fairview and Pike players witha few from Regional maybe. From reports i've heard, Maher from Summerville has a good chance of making it too, a lot of teams are chasing him Ian I think his name is, think he is a younger brother of Cyril but supposed to be a lot better.

Apparently he has contacted most of the squad himself already.

Not that surprising seeing that Conny was trying all Summer to sign the Regional keeper who in my opinion is one of the best shot stoppers in the league.

Jesus, every time Pike try and fail to sign a player, they say he was only asked as back up, but when they succeed in signing a player, its because he's a class act.

Then when a player leaves Pike, most (rather than wish him the best of luck) make little of the player.

out of that bunch of players, who aren't the players I think should be on it.
GK:gilmartin (haven't seen him but suppose to be very good)
CB: McGarry
CB: Daly
RB: Dunphy
LB: Sheahan
CM: Hartnett
CM: Wall
LM: Boyle
RM: Bourke
CF: Barry
CF: Guerin

by far not the best team that could have been put together. How much premier football has Ryan seen. No left winger in the squad and a lack of centre forwards. Wong and Heffernan??

big shortage of forwards if barry is going to play considering his been out for the last 6 months..

He is actually a centre forward being played left wing. He was never a winger growing up in schoolboys or minor.

agree. to be honest i think there should be one or two more from janesboro in the squad. they won the laegue and cup double last year and have only one player in the squad?? a bit ridiculous IMO. Also dee ryan from corbally should surely be included

afaik, the senior league has a junior section also, in that the senior section play on a sunday and the junior section play on the saturday, so anyone that has played in the fai intermediate cup, or more than 6(i think) senior league games is ineligible for junior level.
