i have just been informed of what exactly has happened to our private forum!

the fella who was hosting the site has closed it down and isnt making himself available to vinny so the site is as good as gone. this was at a cost of €200, which is now lost!.

to stop this happening a 2nd time we would need to host the site too this will cost in excess of €200 to do and is the only way of getting our forum back online!.

this is a call to all who used the site to dig deep and contribute to setting up a new forum as it would be un-fair on vinny to front that much money a 2nd time!!.

ill give €20 myself!...

Was talking to Vinny and he let me know what was happening.

It's an unfortunate situation but all that can be done is start over and not make the same mistake of trusting somebody again.

Not to try to upstage anyone (gilb)... i've promised vinny €50 to put towards cost of site.

I know all you guys chip in money with tickets and that all the time but it would be a shame to see the site down for long.....

An update from Vinny...

The forum will be up an running again tonite if possible.

He would also like to stress that the problems that he experienced were only a misunderstanding and that things should now return to normal.

The site skin has not yet been completed, so there will be a temporary skin available for the day or so that it is needed.

The site should be back in action tomorrow, Friday.
