Starlet leaves Carrow Road (http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_2707908,00.html)

Is this guy any good? Or just another in the long line of mediocre strikers we currenlty have at our disposal?

All I know is he's the son of Paul "I scored for Celtic against Rangers" Byrne.

Is he a classic Irish short ar*e?

Well the (posted) article states he is 17 & 6ft tall.

A "starlet" is either a young actress or a make of Toyota

Norwich obviously don't think much of the actress if they're letting her go for nought to Hibs.

Well his old man, who has a big influence on him, is advising him to get out of Edinburgh if he isn't given a run out by the end of this season:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/leagues/scottishpremier/hibernian/5252038/Scottish-Youth-Cup-hero-Kurtis-Byrne-may-quit-Hibs-warns-father.html

"My big concern, though, is that Mixu hasn't given him a chance this season. Not a sniff. Kurtis has been scoring regularly for the Under-19s and for the reserves but he hasn't had a look-in with the first team. We'll need to find out what Mixu's plans are for Kurtis because if he doesn't get his chance after doing so well then perhaps it's time for him to look elsewhere." Mixu has replied, of sorts:

While unwilling to single Byrne out for individual comment in wake of his father's intervention – "I've nothing to say," insisted Paatelainen – the Finn said: "There's no-one wanting them to show that they are capable of playing in the first team more than me.

"I think they are ready to step up into the squad, that's why we gave seven of them first-team contracts for next season. They will come into the squad then and it's up to them to show they are worth a starting place or a place on the bench."

I thought so too Paul. Not sure he's doing the kid any favours either.

That's some squad by reputation anyway. We could have a midfield 3 of James McCarthy, Conor Clifford and Conor Henderson for the qualifiers. There'll be some highly rated players that'll have to do with a place on the bench.

Grag Cunningham is listed with the strikers as well, he's been playing at left full for the Man City academy side
