WE have a chance on Sat now to show how positive we are by turning up in big numbers at the athlone game and really showing the team we are behind em,,,despite whats going on off the field..and also show Spillane what we think of his article!
Exactly...thats the way to go....make him eat his hat like yer man from the Sunday world did v Dundalk.....time to show what this club is all about and our determination to suceed. Lets get behind the team on Sat and show them we care as much as them..Cmon Hendos Claret and Blue Army

[quote=ramsfan;762477]once again we someone being political "we need to appreciate what has been done by ALL at committeee level to get us to where we are" if it was up to the committee we would be bottom of the table , if it wasnt for the spirit of the players and the dedication of the fans to attend home and away then the committe would have been ousted by THE FANS as the finances are always a problem and the team have worked miracles on a small budget we should call ourselves the crazy gang , as they too came from nowhere with nothing but spirit and commitment from players and fans but ultimately that spirit was wrecked by the people who run the club
from wat i here there was only 4 FANS at the last away game..not great for a team top of the table

rams arent and never were big away supporters, unfortunately, i go to what i can but monaghan you must admit is a bit far, ill go to limerick or wexford, went to galway and sligo during runins, but 4-5 hour drives dont appeal to me, im sorry to say this :o:o

Here is an idea! Print up the page from the echo and show them you mean business. Well done lads on the views, lets keep it going moving forward not back. Anyway Spillane is only doing his job, whoever sent him the info unsigned is the real problem.

Heard something along the lines of that myself, not on or acceptable:mad:.
To be fair i think alot of proper rams supporters dont have season tckets, and that could be big factor in electing the next chairman, committee etc, theres people who know the club inside out and have no say because they pay weekly unfortunaatly(like a very good freind of mine, rarely missed a home game in ten+ years, but has no vote) and theres people who buy a seasn ticket for a vote and dont go to games, its a pity but a true fact.
Can we please put this shiite to bed lads, its a joke and farce, and noel spillane wil claim how happy he is if we win the league, bull**** IMO, he let the club down today and made a massive issue out of something that wasnt so big and, a week old, ****e reporting, i think that if one member of a family resigns loyalty will show and the three wil resign, no big deal its what happens.
We all feel let down by today and what really worries me is when/if the cork players who mightnt know whats going on like Murray Guthrie etc(half of the team) read the echo to expect praise (like they ****in deserve) and see such a ****e headline as in cobh in crisis, bull****!!
come on the rams lets show them what were made of, win lose or draw, as they say ye've done us so proud!

Well said Bellavistaman...as i`ve said before if you dont have a season tkt you dont have a say in the running of the club..might make people buy 1 next year..helps the club raise much needed funds which we will need badly next year when we are in the premier division..
Dont think the team will be affected by this, they are too focused on their football this season and nothing else matters..Hendo and Martin wouldnt leave them anyway...
Roll on Sat afternoon and let the football do the talking...
