he's too old to keep up with anyone so he just has to hold them back to get anywhere near the ball

Can you stop the txt spk in future please?

Hutton was a great defender but he's well off the pace nowadays.
If he'd be willing, he might do a job for Harps but other than that he should concentrate on the coaching imo.

Don't think that's txt spk, in fairness.

Don't know what the hell it is, though.

despite pizza getting on in age and maybe lacking in pace nowadays he still has to be one of the best defenders in the league. The man has a talent , he can read the game so well that he doesnt need any pace etc.

as for the grappling sure its part and parcel of the game. if you watch any striker aswell they pull and tug on defenders tops etc.

I'd disagree. From what I've seen of him this year and on eL weekly, his pace seems to have cost them a number of goals.
It kind of reminds me of the two or three years Deccie Daly spent at CCFC before retiring.

Pizza's a legend and I'll never have a bad word to say about him and he's still important to the squad. We do need someone to replace Darren Kelly though but I cant see us getting a replacement for him in the near future.

Peter Hutton is an absolute genius. His reading of the game and his ability to motivate those around him make him one of legends of the local game.

As for the pulling of jerseys. Tell me you are having a laugh. Some of the antics which goes on in the game at the moment, standing on players, elbowing, faking injury, diving etc and you are criticising one of the few gentlemen of the game for tugging a jersey. Get real.
