Cheers, will put my new PS2 to USB thingy to use now
Oddly its not very good no close control and players have the turning cicle of a train, altho i do like the goal button usually called Shoot in other games but in FIFA you press it and goal happens.
Just beat Barca 19-5 with man utd in my 1st game on hard.
cant believe pats letting EA put their name on this **** :)

I'll probs buy it just for the kits and players and import them into Pro Ev
Not paying for muck like this, thankfully theres a demo so saved me €50
kdjac
Kdjac did you have to change the resolution on your screen, because I started the FIFA demo and the screen just goes black and nothing happens?
http://downloads.gamingaccess.com/index.php?file_id=12844
use this to change the resolution, if you have TFT the game starts in 640 so wont run.
The above program will also allow you to import and export kits in BMP format (not this release but the next one will) PES uses TGA so photoshop will be come in handy :D
http://foot.ie/showthread.php?goto=newpost&t=69908 <<<<<<see this :O
kdjac
Whats TFT? Also I use Paint Shop Pro rather than photoshop, will that still work?
TFT is a skinny monitor ie not big assed thing like mine.
PSP is fine just be stretching layers.

Yes I have a skinny monitor. What should I set the res to, I tried again and the screen went black. Am I just not giving it time to load?
1024x768 is lowest res on most TFTs.
Also what graphics card do you have? not an intel pleae not an intel :D

Yup only needs a slight adjustment, i play pro evo in 1920x1080 resolution with HD textures , thats the reason you buy it for pc.
You need a new graphics card they range from €50 to €700
if you pick me up from lisburn on friday i will give and install a 7800GT in your pc :D

What model is your emachines? Should have a 4 digit number after it on the back on a silver sticker.
Need to see if your motherboard has an AGP slot or a PCI express or either.

2230 is the only number I see

Just back from the launch in town there. Not a bad game, although the players look nothing like real life, and nor do most of the grounds. Also, on my third game of it, I realised all I had to do was keep passing the ball around the whole time, and so got a 0-0 draw as UCD with Slavia Prague.
Give me classic Sensible Soccer any day!
