The stand is coming on nicely, and all going well they should be finished by the start of October, so not long to go. We have two home games in October Kildare and Dundalk:eek:

sorry, well knock it and just take the land to make sure its straight, who cares, thats the way it is, noting we can do, its just the way the ground is, well do the best with what we got,

the rows are set from the wall plate at the back of the stand, you would have to assume the roof is level to allow water drain off so if you compare the lines of the roof with the wall plates of the stand you can clearly see the slope, as don ramo seems to think i do not want it knocked i just dont want the club to fork out huge money and time for a development that is not 100% right, if a builder built a house for you would you except sloping floors just for the sake of it and shell out money for a faulty job:confused:

ya i suppose so but its very frustrating...wonder if there was any penalty clauses in the contract with last crowd..or if there was a contract at all....

no negative justn worried originally it was ready in 6 weeks, then stopped then new builder oldwork removed, now new builder, it just smacks of disorganisation and a group of people who were given a lot of money and have lost all sense of realism.

this stand is costing alot and will be our focal point in the ground for years, do we want every visiting fan laughing at its sh@t construction:confused:

lads the way your talking, your sayin all commite members should know how to build stands with there eyes closed, no commitee members would know how a stand is built, thats a builders job to learn, fair enough the last crowd were crooks for what they did, but the club didnt pick them the FAI did so not much we can do about it, the top section is now assembled and only needs the decking and seats and its good then the bottom section will start,

blind freedie can see the slope, it will be handy if you are eating oranges in the back row in one corner and your buddy at the opposite end in the back row wants one you can just roll it down the slope to him

sorry about oranges cant think of anything else this late:D

all comm memebers should not know how to build astand just like u or i wouldnt have a clue about building a house thats, but as i said b4 u wouldnt accept a sloping floor in a house and just put it down to the builoders know what they are doing

i hope they bring a repitable engineer to assess it this time before they shell out more money if you brought in a good structural eng he would tell there is an alignment problem

if all the tall guys sit at the clubhouse end ie 6 ft and above and all the small guys sit the other end 5ft or so then when it is full u wont notice the differnce:rolleyes:

good if we ever have a mexican wave the fellas at the clubhouse end will drown:D

i dout it will be there when finnished, sure the next section will be a step down, it obvious, there hardly gonna keep six rows from one end to the other, underground seating, just wait till it finnished, and if you dont like it, well build a new one just for you, only if you vote me in:D

no it foalts on air, no need for concrete,:D
all the supports will be in place to hold the stand up, do you really think the builder want to be sued for the death of 900 people, these builder have built stands before, they know what there doin,
the seats in the old stand seem to be holding up pretty wel so far still look great , youll never be able to protect them form the weather, unless you actually get a cover for them when there not being used,
