New jersey out at the start of September (possibly the last week of August).

Why can't we get our new shirts for the start of the season?
Will the players have the new kit for the start of the season or will they have to wait like the rest of us.
Le Coq Sportif are crap anyway. Shoddy gear merchants!
"pour le plaisir du sport" my arse.

Are we going to have a decent sized crest on the shirts this time or just a bigger Coq logo.

City have a cunning plan you see - they try and create demand for the shirt by not making them available until almost every fan has gone off anf bought a different shirt as they are sick of waiting for the new ones.

I mean don't they see the media attention that some of the English clubs can create by launching new gear. Have two or three of the players launching the shirt in one of the big sports shops in town in the week before their first game and get some free publicity. De Echo would be bound to cover the event at least if not de Examiner as well...

Did you see what Set Piece Ath (Incorporating St Francis FC) did when they were launching their new strips?

Go to http://www.stpatsfc.com/ and from the left hand side frame select "Super Store".

It's worth another look lads:p

Was reading through the thread & was wondering when someone would remind us of the St PAiStFA F.C. launch :)

Seriously though you'd have to wonder how much of this is le Coq & how much its the clubs fault?

Back in Cork for the weekend and very disappointed to find no trace of a new jersey.

When it eventually comes out I hope it has a tiny bit of green somewhere on it to remind us of our club heritage and to help differenciate us from all the other red and white teams like Shels, Derry, St. Pats etc.

I believe there is a dash of green included in there somewhere, though I haven't actually seen the design. However, I am reliably informed...:)

How many other fans would like to see the green included more prominently?

I think that green is important but not as the dominant colour.
Red and white are good colours but are too often the choice of other teams. Dashes of green here and there would be sufficent.
Is it possible to view the design?
Joe, anybody?

Who posted a message ages ago saying that they had seen the design. Leanord or someone?

It wouldn't surprise me if they never in their life saw a design.

"So you want a red shirt with Le Coq Sportif in big bold letters and our logo all down the back..."

Tsk, tsk!
The cynicism on this board! :D
Very out of character for Corkonians. I suggest we cop ourselves on....
