Bookings are still being taken for the upcoming Monaghan United Golf Society Challenge. The challenge will take place at the top class Rossmore Golf Club on the 15th of September 2007.
The organising Committee are limiting the event to 16 teams of 10 society members. The format of the Challenge is that teams will compete in five pairs in Four Ball Better Ball, stableford. The best Four Cards in each team to Count. Pairs from two teams will compete together.
The Challenge is generously sponsored by Moneycare, Dawson Street, Monaghan. Moneycare Manager, Harry Dwyer is a very keen golfer and sees the huge attraction of the event to Societies. Monaghan United’s ever popular Monaghan Credit Union Mini Leagues come back after the long summer layoff with registration and first games happening this Saturday at 10am to 11am for children aged between 5-8 years old and 9-11 year olds from 11am to 12pm.
