Did anyone know St. Patrick's, Cavan reached the Dr. Tony O'Neill Cup Final where they played Blackrock college...

Did Longford Town ever take an interest or even try build contacts with the coaches in these so called 'GAA strongholds'...

St. Peter's have only started fielding teams two years ago... They have won 11 Ulster Senior Gaelic Football titles and 1 All- Ireland Football title... They only started fielding soccer teams two years ago!!...

co-manager, Edward O' Callaghan

We always knew there was great potential in the team, We have lads playing for Bohemiens, Stella Maris, Monaghan United and Mullingar Athletic

what, no one playing with Longford?? Why, Will any of them ever... are any of them good enough... We may never know...

these lads knew they had the quality to cut it at this level and made the effort to ensure they would be competing...

these are the type of lad's the LTFC should be looking at... Hopefully this is one of the aspects the Town will look at in the future...
