one of my housemates in an editor on tv3 and has told me that the reason that our games are sometimes not featured on the box in the weekly review is because it costs to much to send a camera man down to Longford, if someone within the club had a quality camera and would cover the home matchs, it would gurantee that all games would be seen by fans who could not make it to the match, plus the team could watch the games for faults, incidents etc.

its just what i've been told by tv3 but i think it would be worth while

This has been mentioned on here before, and as well as the benefits for the team and fans, it would increase the appeal of sponsoring the team, be that shirt, ground, perimeter....

I notice on Soccercentral that Home Farm are recording all their home games this season....

if anyone is interested or knows someone who is, i can put you on touch with the right person in tv3, we should get someone to do a dummy run at the bohs game and i will give it to the lads in tv3 and see is the quality ok for them and if they can use it

Bohs have a sponsorship program going where the supporters sponsor each video...

It's increases the profile of any advertising hording captured on TV3...

Club should also look at business sponsorship here too...

Hey folks, I have just phoned Declan Gilmore, I suppose you could say he's the official Town man for the job and he charges €90 per game... that's reasonable...

€3 x 20...

But I was thinking more of something which raises funds... to which video's of games could be supported... Golden Goals...

The supporters club has their own objectives... The half-time draw gets in the way of selling anything similar, the fanzine is not out often enough to raise the cash... flansiro.net couldn't run with it... where would one look to raise the cash... would you get 20 supporters to put their hands in their pockets for three euro...

where would you go for it...

any way of raising money for the club i'll be up for it, just give me the info and the money is yours

My point is that, there's quite alot which is pulling money out of supporters pockets... we need a new direction to raise a few quid because the same 20 people would finance all video's and eventually it would be a drain...

We should aim to get the third round on recorded, give us time to sort it out, but TBH honest I don't have the time or energy to think long about this, but I'n fairness there has to be 90 ppl who would give €1 to do this for the club... but with what in return...
