Just had a quick peek, not bad at all.... surprised its carried by the Mirror, as theirs has the worst eL coverage, but im not complaining. Especially like the Athlone page, with Stephen Kelly still playing for Longford... couldnt find an Athlone pic lads???? :)

From what I've seen of it, it looks very good.... Haven't had a chance to read it properly yet though....

How's the pigs Pete? No sign of them this side of the smoke... :)

I meant pigs flying as in yesterday was tuesday...right?....ah forget it...anyways...

Only had a galnce through the PFAI mag so far but whatever about the substance does look good anyway. Some of the suggested starting lineups look a bit strange with forwards in midfield etc...

I think overall the launch of this season has been so much better than the recent past. Live game on the first weekend, launch at Dalymount on monday, actually glossy supplement with a daily paper... Am i missing ahything...?

Not much use to thee Cork lads but Dublin Dailt had 8 pages on the league last Friday and apparently will have 16 on it this Friday. TV3 pumping it up... 'Bout ****ing time too...

the Jackeen Journal (aka Dublin Daily) having 16 pages on the eL? that sounds very promising... but id guess its a total Dublin bias...

Yeah, we're not of their "Big 8" of Pats, Shamrocks, Bohs, $h€l$, Home Farm, Kildare, Drogs and Bray......

And on that - Kildare, Dwogs and Bray - You're just sh!t dublin suburbs :)

Dunno if 16 pages of eL even be enough for me to buy the Dooblin Daily...

It's Kildare County, isn't it? According to them it's Kildare Town.

I think it went to print a while back so some of the details are a bit out of date.

pete

Yeah a few mistakes but probably due to the print deadline more than anything else.

Glossy mag would definitely get some non-eL peoples attention.

You'd have to wonder how come it's a PFAI magazine rather than an FAI magazine though...

It wasnt bad at all. A few dodgy team line ups but it was goood advertisin for the league for a change

I was disappointed with it overall to be honest, there wasn't much substance to it but at the same time it's a hugely positive step that it was released at all and I'm really pleased about it in that sense. It's a great step and with any luck, only the start of positive media coverage!
