I presume this has been asked before....but with O'Donovan being a record transfer fee ..
What were the fees received by EL clubs for players who moved abroad?
Also
Have any EL clubs benefitted yet from any sell on clauses?

We made a few bob of Jason Byrne going from Shls to cardiff, it will be the same if Zayed movs from Drogheda.

This has been done numerous times, I'm sure.

Anyways, think UCD's record fee is E60k received for Gary Dicker earlier this year. Though we got £30k for Joe Hanrahan off Man United in 1986.

I dont think it was a sell-on clause but Shelbourne got money on Anthony Stokes going to Sunderland because of their part in his development.

sadly not as he was no longer a blackburn player when he made his debut for ireland
