Only 10,000 tickets for this apparently.
Do ye reckon it would be sold out by Friday afternoon?
Working half nine Friday morning.

i think their hype has died down a bit but who knows if if it'll sell out fast. it probably will. i couldnt believe kings of leon sold out two gigs not too mention selling them out so fast.

Those tickets will fly out. Especially since they've released another album since their last gig here.

Didn't go to Oxegen.

I know they playde two gigs in March to promote the album a few days before it was released.

yep the girlfriend had a ticket for one of the olympia gigs and said it was great. thing is shes not too bothered about going to see them again now.
(she likes to see a band once - i like to see them over and over again if theyre good enough ie foo fighters - we're at loggerheads over that one too!:))

so the question we all need answering is will all those who saw them only a few months back go see them again?

plus theres gonna be apile of gigs on and around that gig as well like ian brown etc...that might take from the ticket sales?

I reckon they'll go quickly. I have a mate trying to get two tickets for myself and the missus tomorrow morning as soon as they go on sale anyway

I was online at 8.45 and still didn't manage to get them - they just went like that.. If anyone has any spare tickets (even just one) please PM me.. Genuine fan here! :(

Gutted.
Really gutted.
Was a delayed (ie overdue) birthday present for the girlf. About 6 or 7 ahead of me in the queue but it was the credit cards that knackered us.
Needless to say I'll sexually satisfy anyone who can help me out on this one.

I had the tickets but the laptop wouldn't allow me to proceed as it wasn't a secure page...

Haven't heard from my mate about them yet, so either he got them and went back to bed, or else didn't get them. I'm hoping he would have texted if he didn't get them, but it's probably a blind hope

I saw them at Electric Picnic two years back and they were easily the second best band there. Might sound like a slight on them, until you hear that Kraftwerk were number one

All for the intimate gigs but maybe they should have just played a bigger venue.
The demand was obviously going to be there for a second gig. It sounds like there could have been even less than the 10,000 rumoured.
Is there any chance they could be pulling some scheme of staggered ticket selling such as I've heard now occurs with that Witness circus?

The girlfriend will love that...
Hmmmmm.

Faithful Risteard versus Win Butler.

Its a tough one.

Wait in line . . . . . . . . . . . to be shafted.

Ian Brown is playing the big top aswell and there's only 5,000 tickets for it so that might be the problem there alright.

Queued up from half seven for them - was eventually sixth in the queue (after some skipping in line) in front of some annoying woman. Strange experience.

Apparently after gigs they play in the car park - is that bull****?

they play in some strange places after gigs but these ones are usually to smaller crowds.. check youtube when they play in a lobby after a gig...

You're feeding the market man, though I understand why you'd want to see them so badly. You might have made it to Rock on Seine for that amount to see them & other acts.

Does anybody know whereabouts in the Phoenix Park the Big Top is going to be situated?

I've heard it's supposed to be beside the Visitor's Centre http://www.dublintourist.com/details/phoenix_park_visitor_centre.shtml#map like for the RHCP gig a few years ago.

If so, it's gonna be some bleedin walk!!!

It was a great gig too. They really put on a good show. And for once in their live MCD actually put a bit of effort into the organisation. Oh and they served Becks in the bar instead of the usual Budp1ss.
