2 for Darren Harrington, fine player!
anyone going up to the galway game tonight? I wonder do their fans bitch and moan about the refs, FAI etc. when they lose these games as they do their senior team? When will someone bring up their FAI loving mantra of 'you signed up for this' from December last year?

Cobh officals tried to get some of us to move away from 'ground zero';) when we were down there last by telling us this and that was gonna happen to a certain element of the crowd and that we should 'move on!' a response of 'dont give me that fcuking lip service' from a certain person followed.

Is folan the CB who used play for ireland there at one stage, captain of the school that beat our school in the munster cup final bout 3-4 years ago. Great player back then. tried his luck with rams 21s at start but didnt work out for him. think ive the right fella anyway.

I'm not famailiar with all of them yet, but the line up included :
Paul Danagher at centre back, Donie Curtin at left-back, and in no particular order Harkin, Harrington, Brazier.... Peter White came on at right back for the last 15 minutes and had an immediate impact. There was a small lad up front who was very handy.
EDIT: Sorry clownboy, hadn't seen your post.

How we lads, can we just try something with regard to the 21s. Do not post the team sheet on this board after the Kerry game which by the way is on at 7:45 in jackman on Friday. Come to the games, food provided :D You find also thats its mainly junior posters asking for the team sheets, why?

Jesus, Your one sad *&"^£%. are people not entitled to ask who played in a game...? not everybody can make it to games and also a lot of people like to see if a player that they had a part in bringing up to the standard to play u21's is getting a game.. your attitude is an exact replica of some of the dino's in the junior game who dont want lf37 to succeed, but in your case you you just hate the junior game, which by the way provided how many of the u21's ??????

Lets not forget that the vast majority of the 21's players came from junior clubs, therefore it's only natural that people from junior clubs will want to know how these players are getting on. And lets face it most of the 21's will be back playing junior football because they won't all make it on to the senior team.

First up i wish i could multiquote, secondly i fully support the junior clubs and set up and applaud everyone who has anything to do with bringing a good player up to the standard of under 21 level, i think you'll find that i did not once mention or ask where these fine under 21s came from and where most will return when the under 21 season is over. The questions i hate seeing on foot are where junior posters post up messeges asking what happened to this player?, hes not playing well, he should/will return to junior etc trying to unsettle or simply slag off a player for some mad reason. Maybe i was wrong to ask all persons not to post up the team sheet, that i well agree to but im simply trying to cut off the barracking my some junior posters of players, i would much rather receive the abuse rather then them.

He was only encouraging people to go to the games. Ya fair enough if people cant make it, i cant this friday as I have a game with my Junior team. but how does L37 expect to have big attendences if it has matches on the same time as Junior matches, where a lot of fans will miss games!!

Next U21's game is on Saturday v Cobh Ramblers. Does anyone know whether its to be played here or in Cobh? Website says its in Cobh, but the last tie was meant to be played here then cancelled and played 3 days later in Cobh. Does that mean this one should be played here or whats the story?

Result:
Limerick 37 3 - 0 Cobh Ramblers
I missed the first 20 minutes by which time we were 2 - 0 up. The third goal came from Eddie Brazier. Limerick were very much in control of things for most of the game :ball:

Think Brazier got two. Their mid fielder Tierney who destroyed our senior mid field in Cobh was well taken care of today by Harrington/Grant. Some very good players on that 21 team and some missing due to holidays so its all looking good for the future wheater they be seniors/juniors etc

And in fairness Trev if I had a euro for everytime our two gave the ball away I could hire Max Clifford to try and repair my battered image :p

21s had a deserved win over the cork city 21s last night winning by 4 goals to nil but helped (well he was crap for both sides) by some sad reffing again. goals for clarke, Harken, and subs Tierney and Brazier. Some great football being played though, id tie down a few 21s for the assault on the first division for next season as about 5 have gone back to lure of junior football and € already.

Great result yet again from our U21's to bring an end to a weekend of disappointment.
Despite the result Cork City looked a very good side and were difficult to break down. Both keepers were kept busy in the first half but Cork came closest to opening the scoring, our keeper saved a penalty, and Paul Danagher made a clearance off the line.
Aled Harkin eventually broke the deadlock with a free-kick in the second half. Davie Ryan got the second, then a Cork player was sent off for a second yellow. Tierney came on and put away the third with his first touch. Then a second Cork player was sent off following a dosgy tackle and a bit of argy-bargy. Dont know if was a second yellow or what. Tierney intercepted a poor kickout and squared it to Brazier for an easy finish for the fourth.
This result puts Limerick 37 at the top of the table, with Kerry League 1 pt behind. Limerick play Kerry league away in their next game on Saturday.

He's alright, not standing out in particular though but I dont mean that in a bad way, its just there's others around him that really stand out. (sorry Gael if I've overstepped the mark by commenting on individual players).
BTW i'm not 100% sure he is who I think he is, can anyone confirm (wore no.10 last night) ?
And does anyone know who was our no.7 ?

Top of the table clash today in Mounthawk park in Tralee, and clearly Kerry have entered the rugby world cup as they kicked a young limerick team up and down the overgrown pitch. With Kerrys Stephen O'Mahoneys uncle reffing the game he did set out to **** limerick over however, a goal each from Shane Clarke and John Tierney gave Limerick a deserved win and gave Kerry what they deserved also. Limerick keeper gone to hospital, as i type. Well done lads! next two games both at home to very strong waterford and wexford sides.

Another good win today for our U21's, not our strongest side either as we were without Peter White, Paul Danagher, Shane Barry (our regular keeper) and Darren Harrington.
We opened the scoring with a penalty (dont remember who took it) followed by a goal from Aled Harkin before we conceded two soft goals to make it 2-2 at half time. Second half goals came from Harkin, Clarke and Brazier :ball:

5 2 flattered us but we'll take it anyway. I think our front men are what makes the diff in most game, clarke, brazier and Tierney (who got a bad ankle injury btw) next week we're at home to Wexford youths who are a strong side.
