Ireland to win 2-1 again.
Albania ARE going to be tricky.
No doubt about it.
But we should be beating this calibre team if we're to be a force.
Tonight should give us a better indication of where we're at.
Come On Ireland!!!

I don't know about this game.
I expect Albania to attack us. They'll be really up for it after the result against Russia.
If we defend properly then I reckon we can get a goal or 2 on the break.
I would not be surprised to see if Kerr changed the tactics to a more defensive formation..
You may find that Duff will drift out to the right more to make a 5 man midfield in defence with himself and Kilbane pushing on to make a 3 man attack.
Anyway, I reckon that we can get a result probably 2-1.
A draw wouldn't be too bad either. A win would cancel out our loss to Russia and we'd be in a good positon to progress to the play-offs or automatic qualification.

thank god Robbie is back. Doherty might have got us out of the **** but he's still a donkey.

2-1. No bigger a margin than that. 5/2 the draw is tempting odds...

I reckon 2-1 as well.
Has the team been announced? I wouldn't be surprised to see Doherty and Keane up front with Duff on the left.

Team has been announced. Doherty dropped.
Given, Carr, O’Shea, Breen, Cunningham, Holland, Kinsella, Carsley, Kilbane, Duff, Keane.
Did not see the game.
Should those 2 "goals" have been dis-allowed or were we robbed?
The second goal was marginally offside, so i spose it was a good call from the linesman.
The first one was ridiculous. The defnder jumped to early, backed into Doherty and fell. Doherty laid it off and Carsley drove it home. There was an early whistle though.
So yes, we wuz robbed.

Don't think so.
We never really got going.

They had more decent chances than us though their strikers were shocking.

Doherty is supposed to have 'pushed' the defender challenging him for the ball. The defender went over all right, but I didn't see Doherty actually touch him.
