What do you think about this one, top playing bottom can allyways be tricky, but we should be well able to handle the cats. Also on Sunday there's the fancy dress Fun Run & 80's night later at the club house.

I'll probably regret saying this...

Sod's law says that with Dav and Cummins out, we'll get a hatful. We've had a few 0-0 draws recently so we're probably due a comfortable win. I'll go for 4-1 (!) - Mikey 2, Gutsy and Carey. :D

Look forward to ye all slagging me after the game...

These are the type of games that can bite us in the backside, while we would expect Rams to win all that matters is the three points.

Dundalk and Limerick beaten! Unreal, but I would have thought that Harps would give them a good game, you could see in Gethings that he is a good player.

Dundalk losing was a bit of a shock...sets it up nicely for tomorrow night...we definitly have to win tomorrow night, that would put massive pressure on Dundalk next week..Its all in our hand now....

Excellent Results tonight.
Lets hope we don't have a repeat of last week and we can show why we will be crowned league champions in November. Dundalk are handing us the league over the last few weeks but we are reluctant to accept the invitation to go top. It's about time a Ramblers team learned not to bottle it at crucial points of the season and I feel that this is the best team in Ramblers in donkeys years and these lads are capable of taking advantage. I wont be there myself tomorrow night so I wanna wish the lads luck and heres hopin we'll be top of the league with a 3 point advantage travelling to Dundalk.
C'MON THE RAMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

tonight is the biggest game of the season and all the remaining games are as well.... it may not be pretty at times but its three points that matters ... we will have to be patient and wait for the breaks .. ourselves finn harps and shels are the three best teams in the league now we have the advantage so we must get clinical and take hold of this division and win it.... lets play it on the ground thats when we get the best results... looking good rams..

its a pity that the game is on so late on a saturday, would've gone down to see this but ive pans to go to mithelstown concert.

whats the thinking in having it on a saturday night? is it just entertainment for the pub crowd like?

Think thats a bit harsh don-ramo...did he not break into the squad last night?
would`nt be suprised if he was playing in Dundalk next week..we dont have too many options up front really...

no i dont think it harsh, all i said is that the current squad is very hard to break into, and other players in the under 21s would deserve just as much a chance as he would, plus i think it will be cummins and o reilly up front for dundalk, maybe mikey, but hes more than likely to be out the wing,

plus i didnt like the big arguement aginst hendo for leaving him go cause he was so great and a missive asset lost to the club, even though he played a hand full of games durin an injury crisis two year ago, sorry if you think it harsh, but in my opinion he wont be breaking into this squad any time soon, he may play the odd game here or there but wont be a first teamer unless he bangs a few in when hes given the oportunity,
trust me i would love to be proven wrong by any player at this club

Think Dub will do ok. He looks like he improved a fair bit. fancy him to get 2 or 3 b4 seasons out.

Fair enough but just to put a few things right...Cummins is also suspended for the Dundalk match and Dub is no relation to John meade whatsoever...

Dub is no relation to John meade whatsoever...

i thought they were, fair enough, sorry sniffer i got it wrong, i still think dub shouldn't start against dundalk, 1 apperance doesn't mean he should start one of the most important games of the season against or nearest rivals away, there are other option there,

mcarthy
carey murray gutrie meade
cambridge barrett kearney mucky
mikey o reilly

think that may be good team to put out would be the strongest, if a midfielder is out coleman is playin well also, king looks good, the team is also very flexable they can play a few positions, which has come in handy throughout the season
