Genuinely curious here. How many games has Barrett played for Drogs snce he joined them last year?
After reading this (http://www.eleven-a-side.com/eircomleague/irish_soccer_detail.asp?newsid=28658), I remembered he was injured in one of his very first Drogs games and can't recall seeing his name being mentioned much.
As far as I remember he featured for the majority of last season - and I recall him scoring a good few also - 5 at least I reckon
Personally I reckon a fully fit Barrett can easily be the leagues best player

Barrett got crocked after about fifty seconds of the first game of the season and it was always thought he'd miss the rest of the campaign. He was in and out of the team last season as I recall, although he got a sustained run in the latter third and scored a hat-trick late in the season (was it against Derry?)
Fabio is a much bigger loss; what most people fail to appreciate when criticising Drogheda's style of play is that the team is built around him. He's their playmaker as well as their best striker and they can afford to field two defensive midfielders because the killer passes are made further up the pitch. In his absence their gameplan goes out the window (Fitzpatrick is a very poor and far less mobile subsitute.)
Drogman.

He played quite a lot but has been terribly unlucky with injuries. Had a great end of season last year, destroying the opposition.
He was taken out very badly in the first game against Linfield at Utd Park so I don't know what he'll be like when he recovers. He usually takes a while to get back to his best after injury.
Agree with Sheridan that Fabio is a huge loss. If he didn't get injured I'm sure we'd be at least 8 or 10 points clear at the top of the league at this stage.

Barrett played a huge part in us winning the league last year. Hat trick v Derry. I'm sure he would've gotten a warm reception at Tolka this year if we hadn't have been relegated :D
