For you.....but then again he didnt like ye and didnt wanna be there, sounds familiar actually same thing happening this year with Fenn.
We're starting to see the Kearney of old again before ye tried to ruin him and he's been great in his last few games

Yep, Mark Devlin.
Also played for Galway and I think Bohs at one stage.
Damien Rushe, midfeild for Athlone up to this season
(away in Oz at the mo) isnt the tallest either.
Stewie Connolly (Tranmere,Bray, Athlone, Dundalk) was short
enough too as far as I can remember

Nah, that was all a ploy to bring ye down from the inside sfc red.
Sure Heary has never gotten the better of him.
I doubt there's a shorter footballer in the league.

I was wondering how long it would take until someone started this thread :)
Derek Glynn is fairly small but there are probably smaller.

Paul Masterson who played for Pats in the early 90s (last seen with wayside I think) was probably the smallest person I've ever seen playing any sport.

Tommy Keane (GUFC Legend in the late 80's early 90's) was tiny. He wasn't much over 5ft.

we have a few in our squad,
James Doherty, Barry Curran, Conor Gethins, but the one who wins hands down would have to be Conors brother Alan he is tiny. The Sj.Johnstone lads were asking can they eat the baby on sunday :p

Brian Gannon, now of Monaghan I think, is tiny too.
Davy Cwho used to play for Bray and Bohs was tiny (and brutal !)
I stand corrected but I think Davy Williamson and the aforementioned Tommy Byrne played together in midfield for Sligo Rovers.
I would suggest Brayunknowns that Williamson was the smallest player to ever play football.
Sorry, made a mess of the quote. i'll try again.

Barry curran - does he play right side m/f for finn harps ? if its him he had a great game in oriel a few weeks ago - def one of the smallest players i have ever seen - the shorts up around his neck is a great trick - gives the impression he`s rubbish - far from it - he was one of the best on the park !

Mo Farrell and Franco aint giants but I'm sure that there are others smaller, seeing so much of Clive Delaney has disrupted my ability to judge between tall and small:D

Ciarán Kavanagh, our record appearance holder, was about 2"3', I think. He still won every header going. Had a year or two at Dundalk winding down his career around 2001.

No way he is more than four foot tall
Eddie McCallion is small, as is Gareth McGlynn

Firstly that was a joke......but
It was so bad for the lad he took a break from football and went back to hurling.
He clearly wasnt exactly enjoying it....

I think that might have more to do with the fact that he's a bit of a knob though, micls.

Some fella said that behind us in the Ballybough End of Tolka for the Rovers-Bohs match this season..."that keeper is small, but that one is far away..." couldnt stop laughing at it, it was done in the Father Ted voice and all...

Forgot about how small he was, he must have been pleased to have wound down his career by winning an fai cup medal in 2002 !
