1-0 Limerick. Paddy Purcell header to decide it.
Can't see Kildare being as poor as Athlone tbh.

This could potentially be a very good weekend for us.
Dundalk not at their best recently, I fancy Shelbourne to get something out of that tie. Cobh v Finn Harps, any result will benefit us, it comes down to us getting the 3 points off Kildare who in fairness have been one of our toughest opponents so far. But off the back of last weeks result and the form of certain key L37 players I'm feeling confident :)

Any win will do. We need 6 points from our next 2 games - no slipups.
We will make ground with a win. I fancy Shels to take something too. They keep getting better although we have to go to Tolka at the end of next month.
Not sure what result I want from Cobh.
Harps at home will be a massive game for us on Friday week..

2-1 to Limerick and a draw in the cobh/harps match would be great, but yes Finn Harps next week has to be our biggest game of the season so far but we gotta get through Kildare and that fecken trip to wexford yet:(

Yeah, looks like some trek alright. I'll probably go though, its not often I have time off for such escapades.
I've just discovered you can select Jackman Park as a destination on the AA route planner !

I'd go with a 3-1 L37 win, although it's a toss up as to whether I've chosen that Russel Brand will entertain me more than Skee McGee correctly tonight :p

We were poor but it's not the end of the world. It'd be worse if we'd played to our level and only got a draw but I certainly wouldn't have begrudged Kildare the three points if they'd taken them last night.
So I'll look to the positive and say we were fairly crap but still didn't get beat.
Anyone else notice NOC taking notes?

thought ye were bankers to win last night lads and with shels beating Dundalk ye could have made up some ground on us..its set up nicely now for tonights game...a win for us tonight would put us top..a win for harps would bring the into the mix..
By the way did anyone find out about the "crisis"at the club

Anyway, that rubbish last night almost made you want to head to Nevada's with the Jebus gang and appply for a job in toni & guy, worst game ever! (probably)

Should be a hell of a game Rams. But for the towering b@stard behind my eyeballs that I suspect will render me unfit for driving for most of today I'd nearly have driven down for it.

The result was no more or less than we deserved on the night. Full credit to Paddy Purcell and Dave Ryan for saving us from the unmentionable. Lets hope that penalty miss does not prove to be so crucial further down the line. I'm hoping for a win for Cobh tomorrow :D

dreadful performance from us - never got going. central midfield not in it. waters poor (peno miss aside), colbert never got into it (wasnt given enough ball) and got stupidly booked again, manager sent off that wasnt ski , ref gave us plenty of home decisions, full backs reluctant to get forward...i could go on.
however davy ryan looked a much more confident keeper (bar one or two wobbly clearances) and made two great saves.
match program was good as well.

Unsurprisingly good actually :p

Thought it was a good game. I know we are in the bottom half of the table but I don't think any team has found it easy to beat us recently. I wouldn't be counting on three points against us any time.
If you look at the video Aussie was on the post when Waters hit the peno

Can't believe that more Kildare fans aren't moaning about the goal at the end...seemed nothing wrong with that from the video bar bad judgement on behalf of our keeper, who had a smashing game up to that point.
