In-demand defender Shaun Maher is set to leave Bohemians after the Irish club lost the first leg of their Champions' League qualifier 2-1 to Swedish side Halmstad at Dalymount Park. "The away leg will probably be my last game," he said.
The Swindon, Luton and Wycombe target said: "There are still on-going talks in England but I'm not going to rush into anything. I am still employed by Bohs so I have a duty to focus on next week's match.
"I'll just be concentrating on that and while I'm here I'll be giving it 100 per cent. Hopefully that will be enough to get us through to the next round."
Maher returned to Bohs after failing to make the grade at Fulham. He had agreed to stay at the club for an extra six weeks earlier in the summer to see how the team fared in the Champions' League.
