Jesus, says a lot when you're gutted to draw away to the league leaders.

Harps played them off the park by all accounts, hitting the woodwork 3 times, Gethins missing a hat trick of sitters and having a stone wall penalty turned down. Then gave away an equaliser with an OG from a corner.

stonewall penalty my arse, the guy should have got a yellow card. however, i have to say harps were the better team on the night and good support as well.

Fair enough, mind you, I forgot to mention Parkhouse missing an open net! ;)

Baz Curran missed an open net too, from a tight angle right enough but an open net all the same.

2 nil to the Magic Mons. In fairness Wexford were very poor but United have started to play some really good football. Sure we were beaten last weekend by Limerick and I havent forgotten our drubbing by Cobh but we have a great squad and now they are doing what they are paid to do.

First time I got to announce our win on the PA and looking forward to doing Radio interview tomorrow for first time in a while!

Nowhere near a reflection of the game.

I admit I didn't get to focus in entirely on the game. I was stuck minding my 4 year old and 7 year old cousins. I couldn't see the problem with the UCD goal. Though Gregg was definitely at fault for both Rovers goals. First one he came for it and missed it. The second he couldn't make his mind up and Purcell just had to get it on target.

Like I said, I didn't get to engage in the game properly so I can't tell who played better.

There was no problem with our goal. Awful call from the linesman. Then Matt Gregg decides to have his worst game for us, and then we get four of our best players injured... :(

UCD played a lot of neat, incisive football until they got near the Rovers box. Not a huge amount of end product though and starting to see why UCD fans don't rate Sammon.

Also, got a lingering close up of Pineapple Stu munching chips at half time..........couldn't decide whether seeing that or Felix was worse.:D

Got a text at half time - "Fat bastid! Share them chips!"

Was hoping it was a joke, but no - got done on the double.

Very nice chips they were too though. At least I wasn't on telly munching on my six inch sausages.

The zoom in was a bit OTT from Setanta, cameraman was obviously hungry too! :D

Really:confused: I thought it was a big crowd considering the day and weather.

There was definitely more than at the Hammarby game and that was 2500.

Maybe a little less than 3000 but definitely over 2500.Should be in the echo later

3,100 at it

Not great seeing over 5,000 empty seats at a "derby"

No but still more than I expected tbh....who'd have thought waterford would be a bigger crowd puller than Hammarby
