Cork City continue their work in the community

Cork City are continuing their work in the community and under the "Investment in the Community" Programme members of the club visited the children's wards of Cork University Hospital and the Bons Secours. Club manager Damien Richardson and captain Dan Murray were joined by Liam Kearney as they visited the two children's wards and heaped praise on doctors and nurses.

Cork City are to donate €1,000 worth of Cork City FC gear to children's wards at local hospitals over the coming weeks. Premier Travel have sponsored the donation and anyone interested in sponsoring other similar events should contact Cork City FC. Meanwhile, Cork City's African Representative team had cause for celebration at the UCC pitches on Sunday afternoon. They overcame a Dublin African Representative team on aggregate despite losing 1-0 in the Cork leg. A 3-2 win in Dublin had set up the Cork side for the win as CCFC continued its "Show Racism the Red Card" initiative.

Ridiculous amount of similar stuff going on.
Fair play to the squad for giving their time.

Fair play to Adrian Desmond too, he is doing some great work there behind the scenes.

The more people involved and working behind the scenes on this kind of thing the better.
