View Full Version : Are playing any English or Scottish teams in pre season friendlies?

LFC played a Leeds select last year, Is there any pre season friendlies on the cards this year from England or Scotland? i wpold take even a club from Wales ?

Don't know what the clubs perspective on this would be, but I know from past experience that most UK clubs plan their pre-seasons in or around February. That would have left very little chance of L37 arranging anything, as the main concern was getting the club started then. I suppose it also is dependent on which clubs are using the facilities at UL, as Leeds and Sc unthorpe (awful that you have to put the gap between the cu in that clubs name)were last season. If anyone had any contacts at UL to see what clubs are coming over to use their facilities there would be a possibility.

Of course we could always play the Leicester Tigers who are over in early August, but with an important cup game coming up, we could do without the injuries. ;)

Limerick 37 will be playing a friendly against Colchester as they will be in UL as part of their pre season, not sure of the date yet though
