According to one of the alleged newspapers, Rovers could have a transfer embargo placed on them by the league over bonuses owed to Pat Scully.

About two months too late for us though!

Reynolds come home, all is forgiven. No, no it's not. We're better off without a mercenary cnut like him.

Scully is acting the git as he has for months, he wants Rovers to pay him off and release him....no way sir

the PFAI, the most toothless hypocritical union in the country have said they "may" "call" for an embargo - not that it makes a difference, Rovers have plainly said that we are letting Scully go because 1200 a week is too rich for us...hence we have only signed players on frees - will the PFAI really prevent Rovers signing one of their members who is out of work!!!! Some union that. Teh PFAI hae littel or no real power hence these silly calls to the FAI for embargos - which it seems are illegal and anti competive

In any case Rovers squad is pretty fixed for the coming season.....Scully will be gone in the first week of the season, no other club wants him on their books getting paid that type of money until they have to, hence he's doing preseason at Rovers....

paper talk....

Easy does it, Colm. You'd more likely than not be one of the first, and loudest, to cheer if, say, Reynolds, Ollie and Big Derek decided to hightail it back to Leeside.

GB given the way the cyunt's carrying on I'd be in favour of not letting him do his pre-season with us. After all if he's trying to make us payup the full length of his contract, we can just let him sit there and waste for the reamiander of it. It'll lessen his value and earnings (no bonuses ;D.)

he has a contract - if we dont alow him train, We are in breach and will have to pay him up all his wages for the next year....3 more weeks and he's outta there...

God help anyone who takes him on, he is not able for the harder surfaces, he'll struggle badly in May, June, July, August!!

Maybe if the ***** is so hard up for cash he can sell his cup medal...oh no wait!!!

Well if we have to let him train then maybe the u-12s would appreciate his level of maturity
