If you are trying to access the site at work, there is every chance that TCP port 82 is blocked by your company firewall.

For some reason this site runs on port 82 rather than port 80.

Does anyone know if and when there will be a relaunch of the website?

I remember when the site first launched, they said that eventually there will be lots of nice features such as video highlights, audio commentary and the likes.

I'm eager to see what they will have to offer this season.

And yes I sent an email to the FAI about it but have heard nothing from them yet.

I'm mad into my websites me!

Its meant to be happening fairly soon. AFAIK it'll be up and running for the start of the season.

The site will also carry multi-media capabilities, where we can stick up video and audio files, although this won’t happen straight away as there is still some work to be done on that side of things.

I'd be very surprised if it does happen. Have they not been saying that since it was launched? How long does it take?

It seems to be very slow all the time as well. Alot of improvement is needed imo.

anyone notice the crappy new rss news feeder under the club crests on the site. its bleeding over the eircom league logo. if its only a test, they should really do it away from the public eye cos it just looks unprofessional

Edit: i checked firefox and it looks like it works ok there. its obviously not browser compatible yet. im using safari, looks rubbish on that

You mean the one that, just when they've got people on a page where they can read about Irish football, shoves fifa.com and 'Italy's new talent wave' under their noses?
Edit: oh and some stuff from uefa.com about some geezer called Benitez and his 'Reds'?

Both the League of ireland site and the FAI sites are down for maintenance. Could there be 2 brand spanking new websites on the horizon i wonder or just some crappy adjustments.
