Are you sure it's no PPV? It isn't listed on Setanta Ireland.
Its on Setanta 1 (the British version)
I know its a subscription channel but so is Sky Sports
Its 100% not PPV

someone told me it was £15 on the british one.
It might be that for a monthly sub to Setanta in England.
Jeez

And in Ireland

If you already subscribe to Setanta Sports you DO NOT have to pay any more

Hatton wins in 4 rounds. (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/boxing/6742253.stm)
A body shot ended the fight.

i have to say i still dont see how that body shot was so powerful, i reckon its where he hit him rather than the power. right in the kidneys.
Yeah, I remember De Lay Hoya being hit with a body punch by Bernard Hopkins a few years ago and wondering why he was staying down. The ever excellent Jim Watts tried to explain exactly how he feeling, as he couldn't breathe. Watt said its the most painful thing that can happen in boxing and there's no way a boxer can continue
Ended up watching the fight on an internet stream with HBO commentrary.

if you get hit there then it's game over. I'm surprised someone with Castillo's experience left a gap so early on. Roll on Mayweather.......

Body shots are technically the most impresses finishes to watch. They may lack the blood and thunder of an assault to the head but it shows a level of awareness and skill that has to be appreciated.
By the way the fight will be replayed on Setanta Ireland at 10pm on Wednesday.

this is what i thought, its on the encrypted pay per view setanta that the pubs get over in england, you have to pay per game, my mate at home couldnt watch it and was sickened, nor could my mate over here and both have full setanta package. YOu haev to pay extra its the same as the gaelic matches ( bar a few that stream on normal setanta.)

Your mate got it wrong. It was on the normal Setanta 1. They based a huge advertising campaign. Join for the Ricky Hatton fight and stay for 2 months

Starts about 3/4 of the way down the page.
I must say, I like reading Lawton's articles, he makes his point, backs it up with facts, and draws reasonable conclusions. Can be a bit verbose though.

If Naz had knocked out Barrera then he'd probably be saying the same old crap about Naz two weeks later. Remember Barrera was supposed to be finished pre Morales 1 after Junior Jones beat him up twice.
He's probably been promised a ring side seat for the next Frank Warren show.

and Tszyu couldn't have retired before his fight with Hatton because he'd have lost his IBF title. He was injured not on the shelf. Tszyu was a massive favourite on both sides of the pond.
