Cork city would be the benefactors as they have the best record of the teams in the premier division clubs who have not qualified for europe

Where did you see that Cork had the best record? Not saying its not true, just wondering if there's a website or something regularly updated..

i cant remember where i saw it. i think it was the fai site.
they didnt have the best record but the teams above us had already qualified for europe so city would get it.
im 100% certain about that.
we'll have to wait for that draw in April i suppose. were in with a shout anyway :)

Hopefully an EL Team gets the extra place, no mattrer who it is. The more teams the more chance of them doing well, and hopefully getting better coverage for the League in the media.
