Surely one of the more bizarre murder cases in recent years, here or anywhere else.
A man found dead in a fish shop freezer in Galway, who was originally reported to be foreign, then in his 30s or 40s, has turned out to be a 52-year old Dublin drug dealer who may have been dead for four years. Post mortem was delayed for days to allow the body to thaw, but it appears he was bound, suffered head injuries and was possibly tortured. It's possible he might have been killed in Clare - where his car was found a few years ago - and brought to Galway after he was dead.
How do you have a body in your shop for four years and not notice it?
