just reading the echo and it says declan daly has got a new one year contract. this cannot be true
as a dolan fan i hope hes not after making his first mistake

maybe hes just being nice to declan for being a loyal servant and hopefully we will see him more bench warming than hoofing the ball outta the x

Hope to God you're right. This is, indeed, VERY distressing news. Better be just a last resort option kind of thing.

Not more of your 'I told you so' s***e'! Ex-pat seems to be thinking in the right direction. Jesus, I hope he's right.

as i said its a very reliable source, according to him daly was sick of the abuse he recieved last season, jesus i hope he goes, he'll only hurt his legendary status

Couldn't disagree with ya there. Daly DID get a heap of abuse last season through NO fault of his own. What was he meant to do, ask Gunther not to play him?? I don't think so! No doubting that Deccie's a legend, I just hope he goes before we remember him as a washede-up hasbeen.

decie is a great player who can use his experence to last another five years. my dad tells me that a player once played top class football when over 50 years of age. could decie beat that record. he could play until he is 70. he has a great kick of a ball.

No one finds you interesting, engaging or funny.
Stop making stupid statements just for the sake of it.
You're happy that Declan Daly is staying, point taken, leave it at that.

i was exagerating a little when i said he could play until 70. what i mean is that he can play for another few years . yes i am happy he is staying for another year at least.

Daly was a legend, but unfortunately no more.
Not a good idea offering him an extension.

well spotted james.

dalys experience will come in handy next season. the team is still very young as murphy pointed out last year so we will need daly.
murray is only 20 or so and needs daly alongside him.
