New figures show that foreign nationals are now in the majority in parts of Dublin's north city.

The Central Statistics Office figures show that in three local election wards around O'Connell St, most of the population were born outside of Ireland.

The figures show that the population of the North City Ward in Dublin is now 55% foreign national and nearly one-third from outside EU.

I presume they referring to Parnell St area. Surprisingly high figures.

If I recall correctly, there was only one person officially long term resident on O'Connell St., an old lady from Romania, who had been there thirty years or so.

Yeah that area would have a fairly small population given most of its premises are retail.

Not so many that we need to artificially deflate the English literacy rates.
