...while on a visit to Helsinki Zoo in search of floodlights I met the manager and he was lamenting the loss of his prize giraffe to a top Italian Zoo. He was keen to find a replacement as they're entering the halfway stage of their season and are facing stiff opposition from Santa Land.
Hartigan is expected to sign later this week pending a medical and shots.

No joy with the floodlights.

What did City get in exchange?

Reindeer to replace a donkey? ;)

...or at least I got peanuts to feed to the elephant.

That's good for a laugh but I think everyone takes one look and knows it is not true because of the use of "Hartigan" and "lucrative deal" in the same sentence...

...Lucrative for me at least as I saved FIM25 on the peanuts.

I don't mean any harm by my remarks about Hartigan, I can't say that he doesn't try but I think that the game City need to play, if they're to compete for top honours, has no place for that type of player.
I'm sure he wears the City shirt with pride and I respect him for that.
