FIFA '08

Some of the country’s top eircom League of Ireland players today joined together to officially announce details of FIFA 08 at a photocall at Meeting House Square in Temple Bar, Dublin. Players present were: Liam Kearney (Cork City), Kevin Hunt (Bohemians), Pat McCourt (Derry City), Shane Robinson (Drogheda United), Alan Murphy (Galway United), Aidan Price (Shamrock Rovers) and Joseph Ndo (St. Patrick’s Athletic).

All 12 teams in the Premier Division of the eircom League of Ireland will be featured in the game; Bohemians, Bray Wanderers, Cork City, Derry City, Drogheda United, Galway United, Longford Town, Shamrock Rovers, Sligo Rovers, St. Patrick’s Athletic, UCD and Waterford United.

Craig Auld, Ireland Marketing Manager for EA commented: “EA is delighted that Irish football will be proudly represented in the world renowned FIFA franchise this year. It’s a really exciting time for the FAI eircom League of Ireland, and we look forward to giving Irish football fans the opportunity to play the game as their favourite homegrown teams for the first time.”

Sligo Rovers will be winning the Champions League on my PS3 sometime in early October. :)
