Only just felt the irony there of actually polling Don't care.
Should be an option on all General Election ballot papers.
They're as boring as eachother though.
Pity one of em must go through.

In the Opel Fruit Cup in 1974, the Red Ones were drawn to play the Yellow Ones.
Now that was a mouth-watering tie.

Celtic have done well so far against more than one side regarded as being slightly better than them. Liverpool, though, will be a BIG step-up in class.

*yawn* trust you SEJ to post something non relevant to this thread

i'd like to concur with the sheliban's point though orange opel fruits are my favourite - got a pack there one day and must have been 95% green ones.. binned it, then straight away it started raining, man that was a bad day

Celtic were the best team in Europe for the first ten minutes.
Liverpool were slightly better for the other 80.

Was on in the pub but had back to screen so didn't watch.

I think the red jerseyed crowd scored at some stage, few people cheered & best comment was "...who the hell is cheering for Liverpool..."

That'll be the day.:) As James said it's not as if I speak with a Scouse accent. It's mainly to do with the type of scenario that goes:

Friend: Who do you support?
Me: Cork City.
Friend: Riiiiiight. Who do you actually support?

You get the picture, so I don't have to go any further. It's one case though when I couldn't be prouder to be misunderstood. I'm City through and through (true and true??) and always will be.

Uh I hate that. I can't stand idiots who like down their noses at the likes of us for supporting our local football club.

Spot on, Colm. The idiots say what's so great about supporting your local team? I tend to reply with what's so great/natural about an Irishman pledging undying loyalty to an English team. Like them, yes, as I do Liverpool; but, don't fall head over heels in love with them.
