BTW have you seen the film "The Magicians" froom the people behind Peep Show?

Very disappointing

Didn't fancy it for some reason, I'll probably get it on DVD when it comes out, but I know I'll probably end up being disappointed alright

Dark places was originally made in the 80's for channel 4 but scrapped as they didnt get it

:D:D

Mr. Merenghi is an underappreciated genius. Did you know he's written more books than he's read?

Seen some of the Mighty Boosh on DVD but seemed like hard work. Also seen Gareth Marenghi's Dark places on DVD & its fairly bizarre alright but in a good way.

Yea like most good shows it takes a little effort to get into but so worth it ,once you get used to the charaters mainly vince Noir & the random songs its class .

Howard Moon: You used to be a zookeeper, this is where your heart was. What about the zoo?
Vince Noir: [bleeped] F*** the zoo
Howard Moon: [shocked] What did you say?
Vince Noir: [bleeped] I said, f*** the zoo
Howard Moon: I can't believe you're saying that. What about the animals?
Vince Noir: [bleeped] F*** the animals! They're all a bunch of w******!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Johnny Two Hats: I'm Johnny Two Hats, why do you think they call me that?
Vince Noir: Is it because you've got two hats on?
Johnny Two Hats: Bingo

or the zoo manager that doesnt know any of the animals given a school tour .

This is a large carpet man ( bear ) when he isnt busy being a carpet he likes to dance

have to say i was cynical at the start about curb, but i think its quality..some of the scenarios are classic..larry is a legend, never really that unreasonable to be honest...

Curb is too exposed now. Its was better when was only shown on TG4 on this side of the world to the select few. ;)

Anyway, Larry David has just split from his wife (http://www.cnn.com/2007/SHOWBIZ/TV/06/07/people.david.reut/). So if they ever make a seventh season... poor Cheryl! :( :D

You've obviously been missing the quality comedy. No fear, superbad is out next week in the cinema with George Michael! Yay!

Season 6 Episode 1 "Meet the Blacks" aired in the US.

Larry tries a new excuse for getting out of attending parties & the Davids adopt a family made homeless by a hurricane.

Good but not great episode. Some good one liners about a cake.

Any one else watching series 6?

Must say overall very good quality so far including great cameo by John McEnroe. Show is fresh enough to continue for years.

Watched it last night, great plot from different angles. In hindsight some obvious jokes but ones those ones where you wonder "where is the exterminator going to make it into the plot..." Some genuine laugh out loud moments including the insult in the electrical store. :D

The very end of the "date" with the exterminator where they do that awkard bloke goodbye thing where they dont know what to do, shake hands, wave or what and your man makes a move to kiss him even :D

I think The Therapist guesting starring Steve Coogan was my favourite from series 5.

Not heard if this to be shown on More Four or TG4 yet.

Rumours of 2-3 more series but nothing announced yet.
