rumour has it he is on his way back to the premmiership. the ex-aresnal man is been looked at by steve copells team, who ave been in galway over the last few weeks monitoring his progress. but here is the hunch reading want him to sign and to play one more eircom leAGUE season before they take him over.(like doyle and long and the rest the reading co) i think limerick should look into the possibilty of bringing him back to the mighty blues where he would be guarented playing time in his favoured position.

What a load of crap. Tony Cussins wanted Shane to play for Galway United to use as a window to get him back across the water, as he feels he is good enough . Money had nothing to do with it. When shane was on the move, Limerick didnt have a bright future, it was before 37 was set up. And the chance to play Eircom Premier was better than Division 1 dont youthink. Get your facts right bud.

Young Shane had always wanted to play for Limerick 37, even before he was
born.

id find it hard to believe prem teams want him when he's been a pretty adverage player for us..... wouldnt look out of sorts in 1st division anyway never mind been too good for premier division!!.
bull* rumour tbh. relesed by arsenal after only getting a few reserve games, comes to galway united, plays only a few games, plays adverage(although out of position) and your saying premiership teams are looking at him???

Really are you saying that limerick 37 was not up and running before treacy went to galway cause that is lies. treacy was asked to talk to limerick but didnt want to and this talk of him going back to england is also cr*p. if he was good enough why was he left go from arsenal and as for galway signing him to get any money if he was sold on! that is really looking after players isnt it. his dad was asking for far too much money for him to sign so much for loyalty. he would be far better off in a good first division side looking good each week rather than playing with a bad premier side

If Limerick 37 were in the Premier, full time, and offering similar wages to GUFC, then I'd imagine he may well have signed for you.

Dunno. I guess we're allowed onto your pages, because you're so much more adult and tolerant of opposing views than we are?

The worst thread of all time
Two pages dedicated to a fcukin nobody.
Shane Who?? Leave him off. Was never good enough for Arsenal, probably isn't good enough for Galway and unless he wants to play for 50 quid a week I wouldn't have him near Limerick.
To clarify a few things (The Galways lads are so concerned about us):
Think you'll find the Monkfish camp is very lonely.
Pi$$ing in water.... Salthill hardly counts??
And of course Galway will stay up
Jesus
