Doolins under no pressure from the board of directors at drogheda

I think if Doolin doesnt deliver the premier division title this year he will be under severe pressure and given your current form and results, its safe to say there will be a few awkward questions from your board to the manager.

I don't think so.

The main interest at Drogheda wants to build 5,000 homes in East Meath.

I am not sure they give a sh!t where Drogheda end up in the league..

That must be why they're bankrolling a massive wage bill then. Makes sense.

Blues win 2-1

HUGE win for the blues :D 4 matches unbeaten and a win against the relegation favourites. Starting to look a bit more solid at the back - was a very harsh penalty but thankfully it didn't affect the result.

Made my first visit to Richmond on friday night. Thought it was a really good game of football. Two teams that played it on the ground and passed it well (particularly the perfectly weighted back pass for Pat's first goal). Sligo were dominant for about 20 mins in the first half and the early part of the second but they didn't take the chances. Overall good entertainment, worth the 20 euro, the free programme is good quality too. Looks like work on the new stand behind the goal is flying along too.

Pat's fans what do ye make of Paul Murphy? I had heard he needed to lose 2 stone to get a contract. Was then told he had been given a 1 year contract by Kerr. Looking at him Friday he still has a good stone and a half to lose. I played with him as a schoolboy and he's a seriously talented player, but attitude and injury problems really destroyed hin at Manchester City. As soon as the game ended Friday he was out on the pitch running drills.

I'd say if ye can get him fit he'll be an interesting player. If ye don't want him just get him fit and send him back to Wexford Youths :)

I presume you were looking at him sitting in the stand or was he on the bench?

He was on the bench alright (the chubby guy!). He dosen't seem to have a squad number though. According to the programme he made one sub appearence in the league cup.

As soon as the game was over himself and, I think, Mark Rooney (fairly big guy with reddish hair) went out on the pitch and started doing some running.

Looks like we could be signing a new striker when the window opens so will be hard for him to get a look in. Looks better then Rooney although who doesnt.
