With the 3 Fair Play places allocated it seems to be confirmed that Drogs and St Pats will be unseeded in the first qualifying round.

Anyone else agree that the regional draws are a load of crap?

The Northern region is clearly stronger than the Southern/Mediterranean one in my opinion.

I'm not too keen on seedings in general but if UEFA must do it they could at least do a draw that covers the whole of Europe, though I understand this way helps clubs save on travelling.

Lowest ranked seeded Northern team is on 2.420
Lowest ranked seeded southern team - 3.190
Lowest ranked seeded Central team - 3.365

Add to that and it stops Irish teams getting Kazakhstan or Armenia and I'm all for the regional draw

Look at the unseeded teams in the Southern/Med section.

San Marino, Andorra, Malta and Luxembourg.

As opposed to Liechensteain, Wales or Northern Ireland?

Yes.

Liechtenstein have Vaduz who beat Longford, Wales have Carmarthen who, again, beat Longford. :D

San Marino's clubs are amateur and so would Andorra's be I believe.

You may think Welsh and Northern Irish football is not the best, but it's certainly better than in San Marino and Andorra.....

True enough. They'd still hammer Longford though

Latvia or Lithuania would be good draws as more direct flights available than a few years ago. Riga easy to get too but a bit hard to get to provincial Citys (Ekranas wasn't the easiest two years ago.)

Yeah both Lithuanian teams are provincial

I'm hoping for Hacken as they play in the Swedish second division

But they'd probably still beat Longford!

Does this mean that pats can only get a seeded team from the northern region?

There's a thread on the Pats board the last month or so. We've known exactly who we could get the whole time
