well both Rico and Don are 5/6 to get the job, so that isnt even worth a punt.

Who were ya betting on Joe?

but who has them at 5/6 - the echo? they're hardly a bookies are they?

that would be telling wouldn't it? but seeing as how 'the shortlist' is dwindling every day i've done some thinking and come up with my own dark horse, who's name hasn't featured yet!

And do we have to bed to find who that is??

Those odds were in the Star, and funnily enough, Spillane had them about 3 days later!

Rico was in Rohestown Park Hotel on Sunday - don't know how significant that is......

there also seems to be growing support for Dave Hill

i've been doing some thinking too. Rico and o'riordon are out of the running. lennox himself said that he will have news this wednesday. so does that mean its neither of the above and he already has someone picked?

time will tell.

i think a suprise is on the cards

i also feel that the man has been picked and then it could well be a surprise, hence i'd like to stake a few quid on my dark horse :)

Anybody think stuart Ashton is looking more and more likely by the day?

I think I might know your "Dark Horse" too.
The only thing is, he's such a dark horse that the bookies probably don't even know about him.
I had a very interesting conversation with someone last week.
It's all worthless to me anyway since I'm not in Ireland to make a bet.

There's a bet for you James.
It's a sure thing that John Caulfield isn't the new manager.
