We're all assuming Westwood is out, so it wouldn't be dropping Westwood would it? Two of the Murphys? Joe has never played top level before and Brian is on the bench at Ipswich. So you would feel comfortable putting one of those lads in ahead of the Championship's best stopper?

Call him up, Martin!

Seems a fair reason to sack him, although his salary or lack of conditioning might be nearer the truth!

That new Italian owner of theirs is a complete idiot...

Assuming he gets a decent new club, should Kenny be reconsidered for national service? I'd say yes, as a squad member but not as first choice.

He looks to be in terrible physical shape at the minute. I know he's a goalie, but he's taking the **** in that vine.

He leaves less of the goal to aim at, and can wobble a roll of fat to block a shot quicker than a svelte keeper can dive. Where's the problem?
Seriously, though, if he got in shape, I'd consider him as a useful squad member in the medium term.

I didn't realise he wasn't in good nick, but when fit I'd prefer him over Randolph all day long. Even when not fit actually.

I don't have really strong feelings on Randolph either way, but you must really not fancy him if you'd rather have an overweight, unprofessional 36-year-old with a dodgy temperament and an unwillingness to sit on an international bench.

I really don't fancy Randolph. I think he has an error in him in every game.

Paddy has had some strange stuff happen to him over the years, strange enough that getting sacked because you were born on the wrong day is not outstandingly weird, considering.
And they are calling a former irish keeper.
Why don't they call him English, yorkshire pudding or something? We returned him years ago.

Will be great to see ifjoe murphy can push into squad after his move to huddersfield. I think he has been a very fine keeper
