Calling all Supporters Clubs
5-A-Side Tournament – Saturday 2nd June 2007
The Nottingham Forest Supporters Club has been in existence since 1989 and we have just over 100 members across Ireland and Overseas.
On Saturday 2nd June we’re having our end of season event in Dublin with two members of the 1989 League Cup winning side, Steve Sutton and Tommy Gaynor in attendance.
As part of our day we’re organising a 5-a-side football tournament at the Sports Centre in University College Dublin and all money raised will be going to the Irish Diabetes Foundation whom we hope to present a cheque on the night to a representative of the charity. The event is being sponsored by the Jury’s Montrose Hotel.
Details:
* It will be for a maximum number of 8 teams.
* Squads are to a maximum number of 8.
* Team registration is €70.
* Match Times: 1pm – 3pm
* Matches will be 15 minutes duration with 2 Groups of 4; each team is guaranteed 3 matches.
* There will be two semi finals, a 3rd place play-off and a final.
The presentation of medals will take place in Lonnegans Bar (Jury's Montrose Hotel - across the dual carriageway) after the match where we’ll have a short reception. We would also encourage non-players and player supporters to come down and support the event and attend the reception.
Medals will be presented to the top three teams.
