Colin Notaro scored for both teams at Belfield last night as UCD and Dublin City got their pre season preparations going with a 1-1 draw.
UCD started the better of the two and took an early lead when the inrushing Colin Notario inadvertently put the ball into his own net after Paul Flood saved well from Ray Whelan.

UCD shaded the first half, in wintery conditions and could have led by more at half time.

In the second half Dublin City upped the level of their performance and came more into the game. They were rewarded for their endeavours when Notaro(ON HEARING THE BEEP), went down the right wing before pulling the ball inside(ALMOST TRIPPING HIMSELF) and with the outside of his right foot struck the ball into the net at the near post.

Both managers used the second half to experiment and made several changes before the end. A pleased Dublin City manager, John McDonnell said " We got into the game in the second half and for 15 to 20 minutes we played the way I would want us to play this season. If the players can remember this period then tonight was a worthwhile exercise". rememebr thats the way we want to play changes 7 or 8 changes 20 minutes run
