I have hit an unbelievable purple patch in the last few days with 5 at 100/1 on Harps beating Kilkenny on Friday night (505) and 5 last night on Sligo half-time, Harps full time at 25/1 (130). :D

Anyone else have cracker bets come in for them?

Who's giving odds of 100/1?

Harps were odds on on Friday. I had them in an accumulator.

My biggest ever bet was Pats to beat Longford in the first game of this season at just over 6/4 on betfair

Jesus great bet last night ! The Kilkenny game you had the correct score ? I know a member from Galway on here who backed cobh to beat Cork city in the LC at 16/1 last year, don't know how much he won but it was the best bet in a match i ever heard.

The year Rovers won the first division i backed us at 14/1 and won just over 3k with bet365

Aye, 5-0 at 100/1.

Some bet at 14/1 - great odds as you were the best team left in the division then. That is the year, three went up isn't it?

I assume the 100/1 was for Harps to win 5-0?

Yeah, it was 100-1 for Harps to win 5-0.

A euro on the same result last Friday is the best one I've ever had, and probably as good as it'll ever get!

Jesus there must have been free beer flowing in Ballyboffey last night, should have went !:p

No it was the year we went up automatically and Dublin City beat Shams in a playoff.

Sorry that is what I meant - late one last night :D

The year AFTER three went up - us, Bray and UCD.

Jeeez, still half cut!

Saints to win up in Derry earlier this season. Think it was 5/1

Have 200 on Saints to win FAI Cup this year @ 13/2..... Fingers crossed ;)

Yeah, it was 100-1 for Harps to win 5-0.

Hmmm, it's the same for that for Bohs tonight :D :o :(

My biggest ever was Shels @4/6 to beat Dublin City. Had a good bit on it, we were 2-0 up and coasting along and they scored, I began soiling myself. However, we got through it and I'll never be doing that again that's for sure. Also, happened to be Dublin City's last ever game!

won over €800 on us winning league in 2005 at 14/1 as well, between my bro and dad as well we won €1500+. backing keely to get shels job at the idiotic price of 100/1 was pretty sweet too

Fiver on Keely to take over at Shels @ 100-1. Should have staked more. :( Nearly chucked the slip out on more than one occasion over the three-four months.

Only won €80 on us when we won the league, €10 @ 8-1. Also won a 6 game EL accumulator last season, €145(I think) I got. Final game in that was Rovers Vs. Bohs and I was on the edge of my seat for the whole game until we stole the victory in the 90th minute, Adam Hughes goal, delighted!:D.

It was a 92nd minute too if I remember correctly! :)
Didn't have much on but didn't need much on at those odds!

I only really remember my losses, it seems every time I pile into something it loses! A few years ago for the WC qualifiers Holland were at home to Macedonia in the last game in the group. The Dutch had won every game in the group apart from their trip to Skopje but had been scoring goals for fun and Macedonia had conceded 5 in Finland in their previous match.
Needless to say I thought over 3.5 goals at 6/5 was buying money. The game finished scoreless. It was the same night Ireland played Switzerland at home - a bad night all around!

Just as this is a gambling related topic it's interesting to note that Boylesports have suspended betting on Drogheda v Rovers in the League Cup tonight.

Johnny Lyons was on 98FM at 2 saying everyone put your money on the scumrocks with Paddy Power as they had a good price and Doolin said he was playing a u-17 team.
