alright looping havent heard from you in a while how are you gettin on any plans to return to cobh at all.
the game was good some great football and cummins goal to polish it off at the end was class, official attendance was 601 :D , good number i suppose it was likely to drop off after shels but a good amount stayed so it must say something of how the team is playin, keep it up and we'll be ahead by the end of the second series,
again congrats to steve and the lads

xcellent all round team performance great finnish from garret.....
Athlone were made look very ordinary for a team that have a good pedigree and their wage bill is three times ours... just goes to show.. yet anoter clean sheet it sticks out like a sore thumb now just look at the table ,4 conceeded
very impressive....great crowd again, it was bound to be down in comparrison to the shels game..... waterford on tue and away to limerick on fri night..its a bit of a delima... do you field your first eleven on tue or do you wait and try and beat limerick on fri and open up a decent gap or even go top.... or do you play and risk injury in the league cup which you could get knocked out of in the next round??????

fantastic result, some goal by cummins, great performance, kind of boring in the second half it was so one sided. Been a long long time since i said something like that bout rams, next two games will be tough, gafferman is right wonder if he'll drop a few players thinkin bout limerick friday.
Well done rams , keep up the good work!

the squad is too small for involvement in all competitions, risk of injuries and accumulation of cards... my opinion... sacrifice the league cup.... rest as many players as possible for this one.

ya id agree give others a chance and let them get 90 mins under there belt. he did it against limerick in the cup so he'll prob do it again.

The goals are available on www.athlonetowntv.com/video.html
If anyone would like a full copy of the match on DVD I might be able to arrange it for a donation of €15 to Athlone Town. That would include postage to anywhere in Ireland.
Let me know and I will see what I can do.

Another very good performance, back 4 very good and James Mac had very little to do, maybe 3-0 was a little flattering but we deserved the win for sure, the great thing is that the goals are coming from all over the pitch.:D

Word of warning to anyone thinking of doing this. You will not notice what goes on in the game until getting home and looking at the footage as the concentration on following the play takes away from that.
But it is a great service for ex pats and people not able to make the games.
Can anyone provide me with a source to get 2 programmes from the game as when I went in I couldn't see anyone selling them.

That's excellent Battery Rover. As you say, it's great for ex pats like myself.
