One of the commentary team for the Galway-City game was salivating over Pat Jennings. Said that has the ability to be a world-class goalkeeper, and has all the attributes to be one...!
I would've thought height/stature were important attributes for a world-class goalkeeper, so along with poor judgement there's 2 that PJ is missing.
Weird stuff from RTE....

Nice one! Higgsy spent the whole of yesterday watering the pitch, on his own. The man is mental! Good to see it worked for him.

Highlight for me was the inimitable fashion sense of the UCD fan who walked up to Burdock's for chips just before half- time

That was quality! Giving the finger to the stand was hilarious as well.

Hey - nothing wrong with suit and jersey! Just too lazy to change before going for pints. :)

Shams are really nothing special. Don't see why they're given as much praise as they get. We were unfortunate to have lost. Very poor looking crowd from shams aswell. Very quiet too. Huge row at the end after a shams player went in with a terrible tackle on one of Rovers players. The whole team and bench from both sides got involved.
Have to complement them on admission prices though...about 12 of us got in for free as their was nobody taking money at the gate. Thanks very much:p

Pineapple seems to have got his quotes mixed up. I think he's saying the physio gave the finger while showing his arse.
I assume Pineapple is the one who had the "inimitable" style as I was only wearing a jersey and tracksuit bottoms though I don't think he was dressed all that differently.

Ah now, there's plenty of time yet before that.;)
What I mean is, over the years and various places I've attended football you're far from the only person I've seen wearing formal trousers and a jersey, I don't get the big deal.
