Any word on possible new signing's or release of player's, hopefully we will never see Parkes in an Athlone jersy again, he makes Kilbane a good player.

Heard a rumour Paugie Moran may be signing. Apparently he's
living in Ros now.

If Drogs go down I think Andy The Messiah Myler may make a
return. (wishful thinking)

That's harsh on Waren, Dido. I don't see why you've singled him out after a season that has been poor all round. Parkes wasn't fully fit towards the end of the season but early on I thought he did very well, the hat-trick in Dundalk being particularly noteworthy.

He did have a nightmare iun the last home game of the season but that doesn't disguise the fact that he's a good striker and adds to the squad, in my opinion.

Peace,
Ade

I dunno what games you were watching. Scoring a hat trick against a very poor Dundalk side doesn't disguise the fact that he is still **** poor. He has no first touch, has no vision and generally tries to do everything himself. He has a huge ego and deserves to be brought down a peg or three.

And if anyone has heard about his antics after the final game against Dublin City will know what i'm talking about.

Started roaring and shouting at commitee members for not being paid outside the dressing room in front of Athlone and Dublin players. Would you believe Athlone are paying this deadwood €300 a week no wonder they are in dire straits.

I remember on a few occasions the season before last, some
players being "left short" in the wages but at least they had the
cop on to have a quiet word.

It'd be one thing causing a scene if he was worth 300 a week!
Jebus he's some can of p!ss, he's not worth 300 yoyo a year.
Its no wonder the club are stone broke if they were dishing out
cash to a prat like that.

Story doing the rounds when he was with Kilkenny that after a
game (or maybe training) he left the dressing room, came back in
a few minutes later and in front of everyone warned a team mate
that his car tax or insurance was out of date and to be sure to
have it sorted next time he saw him!
Apparently he was ran from the club shortly after!!!

Could be all lies but it's the kind of coppers head story Id have no
trouble believing.
